It is one of the oldest temples of India. The Shiv Mandir of Ambernath is a marvelous structure. Recreated is the fallen Shikhar of the temple. A unique style called 'Kutastambha' is seen in the Bhumija Shikhar of this temple. It has miniature stamb structures repeating instead of miniature shikhar as commonly seen in Bhumija Shikhars.
